The Eis House has proudly served Central NY since 1977. The Trimble family acquired the business in March 2014 and plan to preserve the tradition while developing new offerings. While we are well known for our award winning garden weddings and receptions, we offer a wide range of services seldom found at a single location. The Chef's daily gourmet chalk board and weekly value specials satisfy a wide variety of pallets and budgets. We host all types of events and meetings with spaces that can accommodate groups ranging from 8 to 200 people. We are well suited for business meetings and training events. The theme is Coastal Northern New England ranging from the rustic post and beam banquet area to the Executive Bar.
The Eis House Team strives to provide an experience that invites our patrons to share our passion for quality, uniqueness and service that treats everyone like friends and family. We will continually grow and improve in a way that allows our team, partners and community to grow and prosper.
“Exceptional Service” is what we strive for. Most of our bartenders, servers, kitchen staff and building and grounds team have been a part of the Eis House experience for many years. They treat the place like they own it. Eis House clients are their clients. As we grow, new team members are necessary and their fresh ideas and enthusiasm are welcome but, it’s the long time team members that make us exceptional.
“Made fresh” is what we do. Baked goods are prepared daily. Our sauces are prepared from fresh ingredients, including herbs and spices from our gardens. Deserts are prepared in house and by a baker located in the village. Marinara sauce simmers on the stove daily. Kitchen prepared salad dressings are another specialty item that make us unique.
“The unique experience” is how we do it. We understand experience has many facets. It starts with an appealing campus moving to the ambience of our serving areas. We are always looking for ways to keep things interesting and fresh. Our Chef demands that our offerings not only taste good but are exceptional in visual appeal and aroma.
The main building was constructed to store ice cut from the Little Salmon River. It is now the home of:
The Mirror Room- A two story banquet area that can accommodate events ranging in size from 20 to 200 people.
The Glass Gallery- Our main dining area has large windows overlooking our multi-level decks and gardens. The rich colors and artisan décor create a unique dining environment. This room is also available for events accommodating up to 60 people.
The Eis House Tavern- Rustic and bold New England style architecture and lay out make it a great place to hold meet and greet events. Adjacent to the tavern is a small dining/meeting room that is well suited to small events of up to 20 people.
Executive Bar- We have recently renovated the Sailfish Saloon to an Executive Bar and two overnight stay rooms located at the east end of the Main Building. The Executive Bar will be available for private parties as well as being open when large events are being held in the Mirror Room. Each guest room has a flatscreen TV, hair dryer and mini-fridge. Room 4 has a queen size bed and a deck overlooking the Little Salmon River. Room 5 has a queen size bed (2 twins are available upon request) and each room is available for single night or extended stay.
Guest House- We have recently converted this building to 2 guest rooms, available for single night or extended stay. Both rooms have private decks overlooking the Little Salmon River. Room 1 is our bridal suite and is also handicap accessible. Each room has a flatscreen TV, hair dryer, and mini-fridge. The Guest House is located within 200 feet of our restaurant/bar.
The Gardens- Take a stroll through the gardens or enjoy from one of our many decks. One of the most diverse in the area, the gardens are best known for wedding ceremonies. They are the setting for all of our outdoor dining, receptions and events.
